I was born and raised in the Abbotsford area and grew up in chicken farming. I started by setting up my own entrepreneurial chicken catching business while still in high school which helped me with leadership skills plus a desire to be my own boss. After many years of working in the Poultry industry, I decided to make a change and moved to the beautiful city of Chilliwack. And it is true what they say “once you move to the Wack you never go back”! In 2001 we moved to the Promontory area where my wife and I owned and operated a bed and breakfast overlooking the beautiful valley until the summer of 2014. In 2006 I felt a need for change. Having always been interested in Real Estate I took the course and got my license. I love being a Realtor! There’s nothing like handing over the keys to a first time buyer! This industry gives me a perfect opportunity to use my love for helping people. I serve in my church in a number of areas and am also the Chair on the board of the Meadow Rose Society, which is a charity my wife is involved with. Aside from my love of Real Estate, I also love fishing, spending time in the outdoors camping and ATVing. Skiing is my favourite winter passion (next to watching hockey!). I am a father, grandfather and my wife’s best friend since 1988. I hope my love of people and patient good humour will serve me to help you find that perfect place to call home!
